About this file

The document is an Exempt Documents/Plan Distribution Form issued by the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners, designed to manage the confidential distribution of sensitive documents under Florida Statutes Section 119.071(3)(b). The form provides a structured process for requesting and receiving exempt documents related to county structures, with specific protections for building plans, blueprints, schematic drawings, and security system plans. It outlines strict protocols for document recipients, requiring verification of identity, employment, and a commitment to maintaining the confidential status of the information.

The form details two key exemption categories: building documents and security system plans, which are protected from public disclosure. These exemptions cover internal layout, structural elements, security system details, threat assessments, emergency plans, and related confidential information. The statutes allow limited disclosure to governmental entities, licensed professionals performing work, or upon court order, with recipients required to maintain the exempt status of the information. The form serves as a legal mechanism to track and control the distribution of sensitive county-related documents while ensuring proper handling and confidentiality.
