About this file
This document is a Consultant Agreement template for a commissioning services contract between a Commissioning Provider and a Consultant, specifically related to the Dane County Elections Center / Clerks Office Facility Remodel project in Madison, Wisconsin. The agreement establishes the framework for professional services to be provided during the construction phase, with a focus on system startup, functional performance testing, and project closeout support. The consultant will work as an independent third-party, collaborating closely with Dane County Public Works, the design team from Wold Architects and Engineers, and the future General Contractor to verify systems, conduct performance testing, and support training activities for the renovation of a 45,000 square foot former Ale Asylum facility.
While specific pricing terms are not detailed in this document, the agreement indicates that the Consultant's services will be governed by the terms of the primary agreement between the County and the Commissioning Provider. The project involves a complete renovation of an existing building to support office, warehouse, storage, printing, life safety, lighting, controls, and security systems. The renovation will transform the space into a centralized Elections Center, with the Commissioning Provider ensuring proper system integration and performance. The contract will be executed through a competitive bidding process, with construction and commissioning phases contingent upon final budget authority.
