About this file

This document contains a subcontractor consent letter template and details of a federal contract solicitation. The subcontractor consent letter is a template for major subcontractors and teaming partners to consent to the prime contractor receiving their past and present performance information from the government. The federal contract solicitation is from the Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command for synchronous online foreign language courses delivered via a virtual school platform. Key requirements include operating the virtual school with little lag time or connection failures, employing instructors to provide language instruction from ILR levels 0 through 3+ in 95 languages, scheduling courses for the top 20 languages on day one and all others within 90 days, and providing helpdesk support whenever classes are in session.

SUBCONTRACTOR CONSENT LETTER

SUBCONTRACTOR/TEAMING PARTNER CONSENT FORM FOR THE RELEASE OF PAST AND PRESENT PERFORMANCE INFORMATION TO THE PRIME CONTRACTOR

Past performance information concerning subcontractors and teaming partners cannot be disclosed to a private party without the subcontractor's or teaming partner's consent. Because a prime contractor is a private party, the Government will need that consent before disclosing subcontractor/teaming partner past and present performance information to the prime during exchanges. In an effort to assist the Government's Past Performance Team in assessing your past performance relevancy and confidence, we request that the following consent form be completed by the major subcontractors/teaming partners identified in your proposal. The completed consent forms should be submitted as part of your Past Performance Volume (or Proposal). (Note: FAR 52.212-2, Volume 3, Past Performance should specify if past performance is to be submitted as a separate proposal volume).
