About this file

This document is an Access Control Flow Chart that outlines the process for visitors to gain access to the NBC (Naval Base Coronado) installation. The key steps include: the sponsor emailing the VCC (Visitor Control Center) with visitor information, the visitor pre-enrolling in DBIDS (Defense Biometric Identification System), the VCC verifying the information and processing the DBIDS enrollment, and the sponsor or visitor picking up the passes at the VCC prior to the access date. Upon entering the installation, the visitor must provide two forms of identification along with their pass for verification by the sentry.

The related federal contract opportunity is for the lease of one (1) 1000kW Emergency Diesel Generator at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) in Bremerton, WA. The period of performance is 17 September 2024 through 1 May 2025. This is a commercial item solicitation using simplified acquisition procedures.
