About this file

This document is an attachment to a federal contract opportunity, specifically an Excel template for submitting object naming conventions for a Building Automation System (BAS). The template provides instructions for contractors/vendors to complete fields such as existing object names, object descriptions, object types, engineering units, proposed object names, trend logging, alarms, remote notification, and vendor/GSA comments. The GSA OFM BAS team will review the proposed object names and provide a status (approved, rejected, clarification needed).

The related federal contract opportunity is for the replacement of independent cooling equipment in Room 411-I at the Federal Building in Aberdeen, SD. The work includes removing an existing 19,200 BTU packaged cooling unit and installing a new 1.5 ton direct expansion split system. This is a new requirement, and there is no incumbent information provided. Proposals must be submitted per the instructions in Part II, Section C201 of the solicitation.
