Q&A for Solicitation W911RX-21-Q-0005

Q1. Will the location be located next to a wash facility (Truck Wash)?

A1. Yes, See PWS 1.6.11

Q2. Will there be a location on base for disposal of all recaptured overspray, runoff, and/or rinsate?

A2. No (see PWS 1.6.50).

Q3. What condition will the equipment be in that is to be disinfected (ed. Caked on mud, biohazard waste, petroleum, etc)?

A3. Vehicles will be washed prior to disinfecting (see PWS 1.6.48).

Q4. Will the waste water have to be tested and documented by Government and contractor prior to disposal?

A4. No

Q5. Is high pressure water the only permitted method prior to disinfection?

A5. Vehicles will be prewashed with high pressure water by the Government. Disinfection will be IAW PWS 1.6.31.

Q6. Will the equipment have to be rinsed off after disinfectant has completed a 10 minute dwell time?

A6. No

Q7. Will each wash station be required to be tore down and put back up after each 12 hour shift?

A7. No

Q8. How many Government employees will be provided to move and transport equipment to and from it required destination?

A8. All vehicles will be moved by the Government.

Q9. Will the equipment be staged in one area or over multiple areas?

A9. All vehicles will be staged in one area (see PWS 1.6.11).

Q10. Is there a hanger or motor pool that staging could occur at? It will provide coverage and easier access to under carriages.

A10. No, all vehicles will be disinfected at the Vehicle Wash Facility (see PWS 1.6.11).

Q11. Will there be a water sources that the contractor can access close to the equipment staging area?

A11. Yes

Q12. Will the equipment be cleaned to the veterinarian’s specifications prior to the contractor performing Agricultural Disinfectant?

A12. No, Contractor will reject any vehicle that is soiled. (see PWS 1.6.48)

Q13. Is there limits on operational hours outside of holidays and weekends?

A13. Yes (see PWS 1.6.10)

Q14. The RFQ in its different CLINS request a quote for 54 pieces of equipment but the PWS, in 1.6.45, refers to attachment 4. The tabs on attachment 4 list varying numbers of pieces of equipment. Please clarify.

A14. Tab “Rollup” lists 54 vehicles. Tabs 2,-4 are a breakdown of individual units.
