Visitor Instructions Base Pass Instructions:
i) Compile a list of visitors including the following information at least 4 days prior to the event (and sooner if possible):
(1) Visitors full name exactly as it appears on their driver's license/identification card
(2) Visitor's full driver's license/identification card number and the state of issue
(a) State ID and driver's license not issued in accordance with the Real ID Act of 2005 will not be accepted at WPAFB.
(b) For guests with non-compliant IDs, they will need to provide an alternate form of ID at Pass and Registration prior to receiving a visitor's pass. A few examples; Passport, Passport Card, I-551 or Global Entry Card.
(3) Company or organization
(4) Contractor/civilian/military status
(5) Verification of US Citzenship
(6) Valid e-mail address for your visitor
ii) Submit visit request and visitor list to Mr Andrew Johnson, RYMP, 2241 Avionic Circle, WPAFB, OH 45433. Or by email at andrew.johnson.72@us.af.mil.
iii) Due to necessary changes process, visitor passes will no longer be e-mailed. Visitors are required to come to Pass & Registration to receive their passes.
iv) Each individual will need to obtain his/her base pass on the Area A side of the base. The 88th Security Forces Squadron Pass & Registration section is located in Bldg. 286, outside Area A at 4185 Logistics Avenue (From the South: Take Interstate 675 North to exit 17, turn right just prior to entering Gate 15A. From the North: Take Interstate 675 South to exit 17, turn right onto North Fairfield, then right onto Colonel Glenn, then make a right for the entrance ramp for Route 844, make another right just prior to entering Gate 15A.). Pass & Registration is open 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday and is closed weekends and Holidays.
v) Once a base pass is obtained, individuals can proceed to Gate 22B. The gate is located off I- 675 at Exit 15. From Gate 22B, the driver can proceed to the visitors center at 2241 Avionic Circle, WPAFB, OH. A building badge can be obtained from the visitor’s center. A representative from the OneRY Range will meet individuals at the visitor’s center.
DISS Information (for classified visits):
Submit a Visit Request in Defense Information System for Security (DISS) for Air Force Research Lab OneRY, Wright Patterson AFB, Building 600 at least one week prior or as soon as possible.
