About this file
This is a Schedule of Services document detailing the frequency of required janitorial tasks for the Hood River Ranger District Office of the U.S. Forest Service. The schedule is divided into two main sections: Basic Services and Periodic Services.
Basic Services to be performed twice per week include sweeping/dust mopping, vacuuming, waste container emptying, low dusting, walk-off mat cleaning, damp mopping floors, and restroom cleaning/disinfecting/supplying. Monthly tasks include spot cleaning walls and sanitizing telephones. Twice-monthly services include cleaning reception area glass. Periodic Services are performed less frequently, with tasks like high dusting/cleaning and stripping/rewaxing floors done semi-annually, carpet/rug shampooing and light fixture cleaning done annually, and cleaning of interior/exterior glass and venetian blinds also scheduled semi-annually. The specific days of work must be approved by the COR and maintain consistency, with an example schedule of Wednesday and Saturday nights for twice-weekly service.
