1ID 1CAB Agriculture Sanitation (W911RX-23-Q-0042) Questions

Q1: Is this a new contract (or was an incumbent performing these services)? If this is not a new contract what are some previous contract numbers?

A1: This is not a follow-on contract. However, there have been previous like services. These are:

W911RX21Q0026 / W911RX21C0005

W911RX21Q0006 / W911RX21P0003

W911RX21Q0005 / W911RX21P0001

Q2: Will all equipment be ready to disinfect, and we have access to disinfect more a day than the required amount?

A2: Yes, equipment will be ready to disinfect. We will allow you to exceed the allotted amount per day if ready to disinfect.

Q3: We did not see anything about motor pools in the PWS or solicitation, only access point to gain entrance to the base. Will the government be provided a motor pool to stage vehicles for disinfection operations? If so, will all rolling stock filter through that motor pool?

A3: The area of land that this will occur on is Camp Funston. We have secured two lots for “motor pool” area to stage vehicles for disinfection operations. (Gravel Lots). Yes, all rolling stock will filter through those gravel lots. We have 2 paved designated lanes for disinfect operations.

Q4: Will continuous water be available (such as outside spigots) if a motor pool is utilized?

A4: No continuous water, but we will provide x2 HIPPOs (2,000g) each of water from a military source and we will refill as needed. So 4,000g at any given time.

Q5: Are most containers consolidated or staged in one location? If not, can the government estimate how many locations? This would help with costing mobile teams.

A5: Containers will be moved via military transport to the disinfect lanes and will all be consolidated into one area once Ag San is complete, military vehicles will move containers to staging site.

Q6: In PWS 3.7.4 the government states it will provide drinking water by way of a water buffalo.

We do not believe one water buffalo could supply the volume needed service 1500+ rolling stock and containers. Can the government provide continuous water (such as outside spigots) at a motor pool?

A6: Drinking water will be provided for consumption to contractor by way of water buffalo, but for disinfect operations x2 HIPPOs will be provided.

Q7: The PWS mentions that chemical cannot be mixed with water from a spigot or water storage tank. Is this sentence stating chemical cannot be mixed directly from a spigot or water

1ID 1CAB Agriculture Sanitation (W911RX-23-Q-0042) Questions storage tank but can via hose attached to a spigot or water storage tank? (PWS 5.2.7) Please clarify.

A7: Water and chemical can be mixed but via a hose attachment over a containment area.
