About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division. The document establishes prevailing wage rates for service contract employees in Nassau and Suffolk counties, New York, effective as of the last revision date of December 3, 2025.

The wage determination (No. 2015-4157, Revision 30) provides hourly rates for over 200 occupation classifications spanning administrative support, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information technology, instructional positions, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, protective services, recreation, technical occupations, and transportation/mobile equipment operations. Rates range from $16.83 per hour for furniture handlers to $61.13 per hour for aircraft maintenance test pilots and flight instructors. All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, or $222.00 weekly/$962.00 monthly), with an alternative rate of $5.09 per hour for employees on SCA-covered contracts also covered by Executive Order 13706. Additional benefits include two weeks of paid vacation after one year of service, increasing to five weeks after 25 years; a minimum of twelve paid holidays annually; and hazardous pay differentials of 4-8 percent for applicable positions. Computer professionals meeting specific exemption criteria and certain air traffic controllers and weather observers are subject to special compensation requirements and footnoted provisions detailed in the determination.
