| Enter general unclassified description of this procurement.: The implementation of the Cloud Based Internet Isolation (CBII) service, which has been used in the commercial sector to isolate Internet traffic, will mitigate the DoD Information Network (DoDIN) threats and free up the bandwidth capacity, by redirecting Internet browsing from the end user’s desktop into a remote cloud-based server. CBII will provide authenticated DoD users with isolation of web sessions and Data Loss Prevention protections for file uploads. CBII will reduce the bandwidth and cyber-security risks associated with utilizing the Internet browser on the DoDIN. CBII will secure the Department's data and networks by taking an end users' (i.e., non-.mil/non-.gov) Internet browsing off the endpoint (i.e., DoDIN) and isolating it within a cloud environment. |
