About this file

This document is a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) Attachment 1 Performance Requirement Summary (PRS) for the VA Community Care Network (CCN) Medical West region. The document details specific performance objectives across three primary pillars: Access, Customer Service, and Claims/Invoicing, with precise performance standards, acceptable quality levels (AQLs), and surveillance methods for each objective.

Key performance objectives include: ensuring veteran drive times meet standards in specific catchment areas (with 85-87% pass rates), maintaining appointment timeliness at ≥90%, achieving ≥97% provider data accuracy, managing contact center operations (with <5% call blockage and abandonment rates), resolving VA-provided ticketing tool tickets within specified timeframes, processing claims within 30 days for ≥98% of submissions, accurately matching claims to referrals, and minimizing out-of-network provider usage (maintaining <1% institutional and <3% professional out-of-network provider usage). Surveillance methods include 100% inspection, sampling, and monthly or quarterly monitoring as determined by the VA.
