About this file

This document is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Statement of Compliance template for Limitation on Telecommunications Equipment Procurement. Version 3 from February 2022, the document requires an OEM representative to certify compliance with Section 208 of the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, 2020, which is part of the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2020 (P.L. 116-94). The compliance statement specifically prohibits the acquisition of certain telecommunications equipment and high-impact or moderate-impact information systems, as defined by the National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST) Federal Information Processing Standard Publication I99 for security categorization.

The template provides designated spaces for a certifying officer to enter their name, title, date, and signature, attesting to the organization's compliance with the specified telecommunications equipment procurement limitations. The document is designed to be completed by an Original Equipment Manufacturer to formally declare their adherence to the federal procurement restrictions outlined in the referenced legislation.
