About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines requirements for repair and overhaul services of EROS Full-Face Oxygen Masks (P/N: MF20-514) for the U.S. Coast Guard.
The contractor must be either the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), an OEM Authorized Repair Center, or an FAA Certified 145 Repair Center acceptable to the Coast Guard. Key requirements include: complete teardown inspection, cleaning, and replacement of consumables; 90-day turnaround time after receipt of material; ISO 9000 compliance; and strict corrosion inspection and remediation procedures. The contractor must provide detailed Teardown and Inspection Reports (TIR) within 5 days of inspection, maintain component tracking forms, and ensure proper packaging/preservation according to CMM standards. Components must be thoroughly cleaned of hazardous materials like chromium and cadmium before return. All parts must be airworthy with appropriate FAA documentation (Form 8130-3 Certificate or EASA Form-1) and the Coast Guard tracks serial numbers through their Aviation Computerized Maintenance System (ACMS).
