About this file
This is a technical specifications document for a 20-kVA power cart designed to support a Negative Pressure Conex Light (NPC L) unit at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. The Air Force Air Mobility Command/Surgeon General's Medical Readiness Logistics Division requires one unit for this application.
The power cart must meet specific electrical requirements including 208-240 VAC, 3-phase, 50/60 Hz input power conversion to 115-volt line-to-neutral and 200-208 volt line-to-line 3-phase 4-wire output at 400 Hz frequency. Safety features must include an AC output contactor with an aircraft safety interlock system for connect/disconnect operations. The cart requires an input cable minimum 50 feet in length with single-jacket 3-conductor configuration plus ground, and an output cable minimum 20 feet long with multiple banded conductors terminated with a standard aircraft plug connector.
