About this file
This document is a Brand Name Justification for a federal contract opportunity to procure two LION Attack Digital Fire Training Panels to complement the existing LION Attack Digital Fire Training System used by the Sheppard Fire Department.
The justification explains that the LION training panels are designed to work specifically with the existing LION training system, and that no other products on the market can integrate with the proprietary system. The Sheppard Fire Department has a requirement for the additional training panels to provide a more realistic and safer indoor training environment for fire personnel. The contracting officer has determined that the LION brand name is the only reasonably available option for this requirement. The related federal contract opportunity is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for a Firm Fixed Price contract to provide the LION Fire Training Panel System at Sheppard AFB, with a period of performance of 180 calendar days. This is a total small business set-aside with a NAICS code of 339999 and a size standard of 550 employees. Quotes must be valid through September 30, 2024, and will be due by 2:00 PM CST on September 10, 2024.
