About this file

This document is a Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) Determination Memorandum for a sole source acquisition above the micro-purchase threshold but not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. The 185th Security Forces Squadron requires the acquisition of intrusion detection system equipment and services for Building 254, including a SCIF SFXI badging system, ACS panel, LAN panel, keypad card readers, printer, peripherals, and other miscellaneous components. The Advantor system is the only compatible option, as it is the only authorized intrusion detection system annunciator approved by the US Air Force for use on Air Force installations. Market research confirmed there are no authorized distributors of the required Advantor software or products. Future upgrades or additions to the existing Advantor system will be researched to determine if Advantor remains the only compatible option. The contracting officer has approved this sole source justification.

The related federal contract opportunity, Solicitation Number W50S72-24-Q-7207, is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the OPS Building 254 Intrusion Detection System Room 191 Services. The Government intends to solicit and award to Advantor Systems on a sole source basis. The NAICS code is 561621 with a $25 Million small business size standard. Vendors must submit a Vendor Information Sheet, provide adequate product specifications, and have an active SAM registration to be eligible for award.
