About this file

This is a supplemental document (DIAR 1452-280-2) that provides modifications and clarifications to a contract or solicitation for treadmill equipment at Thorpe Fitness Center under Bureau of Indian Education oversight. The supplement addresses deviations from standard Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements and Indian Affairs Acquisition Regulation (DIAR) provisions specific to this procurement for the Department of the Interior's Bureau of Indian Affairs. The document outlines approval for exemptions or alternative procedures that may apply to the acquisition, including any special contracting methods, set-asides, or regulatory waivers necessary for the fitness center equipment procurement. The supplement serves to align the solicitation requirements with applicable federal policy exceptions and Department of Interior-specific acquisition guidance for this particular treadmill equipment requirement at the educational facility.
