About this file
This document is a Brand Name Justification Letter for a federal contract opportunity to purchase Bobcat brand hydraulic breakers, mounting caps, and hose kits. The 368th Training Squadron at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri requires these Bobcat-specific attachments to support their current inventory of Bobcat mini-excavators used in the Pavements and Equipment Craftsman course. Market research determined that other brand attachments would not be compatible. The contracting agency, the 82nd Contracting Squadron at Sheppard AFB, Texas, has issued Solicitation #FA302024QHYDR as a request for quotes (RFQ) to provide 3 each of the Bobcat branded items. This is a total small business set-aside with an anticipated single Firm Fixed Price contract award. The solicitation will close on September 3, 2024, and questions are due by August 29, 2024. The applicable NAICS code is 333131 with a 900 employee size standard.
