About this file

This document is an attachment to a state and local contract opportunity issued by the California Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Boating and Waterways. The project involves constructing and delivering eight (8) floating restrooms to various locations across California, including Lake Oroville, Lake Pyramid, San Vincente, Lake Shasta, and Folsom Lake. The work must be completed within 360 calendar days of the purchase order date, and the contractor will be responsible for delivery, unloading, and obtaining necessary permits. Payment will be made upon successful delivery, inspection, and acceptance of each restroom.

The contract includes warranty requirements, as well as compliance with the Build America Buy America Act, which requires the use of domestically produced iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials. Waivers may be granted for non-availability of materials or if compliance would increase the project cost by more than 25%. The contract opportunity is funded in part by a federal Clean Vessel Act award.
