About this file
This is a Planned Milestones Worksheet template for the FY27 Small Business Development Center State of Kansas Network Rebid. The worksheet is designed to allow applicants to document projected milestones and deliverables aligned with the cooperative agreement's twelve-month period of performance beginning January 1, 2027. As a planning tool, it enables the lead SBDC applicant to outline specific, measurable objectives across the required service areas: one-on-one counseling, technology transfer and research assistance, rural business development, export assistance, cybersecurity training, intellectual property protection, employee ownership and cooperatives promotion, and regulatory compliance guidance. The template should incorporate milestones that demonstrate alignment with SBA priorities, including onshoring and manufacturing support, artificial intelligence tool assistance, skilled labor development, rural services, and disaster recovery assistance.
The worksheet serves as supporting documentation for the technical proposal, which is limited to 35 pages and must be submitted electronically through Grants.gov by the November 19, 2026 application deadline. Applicants must be institutions of higher education or currently operating Women's Business Centers serving entrepreneurs in Kansas, with the capacity to deliver comprehensive SBDC services to the state's small business community. The anticipated single award under this notice carries a requirement for a minimum 50 percent non-federal cost share on a 1:1 matching ratio with federal funds, with funding to support the SBDC Program under Assistance Listing 59.037 administered by the Small Business Administration.
