About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a door lock and replacement project at the Rhinelander Supervisor's Office (RHSO) and Park Falls District Office. The project involves replacing door locks on nine exterior and three interior doors at the RHSO, and completely replacing the entry doors at the Park Falls Office. Key requirements include installing stand-alone electronic Cypher Locks with specific technical specifications, such as being manually programmable, ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certified, and operating in temperatures from -31 to 151 degrees Fahrenheit.

For the Park Falls Office, the project calls for replacing aged double-leaf steel entry doors with new commercial-grade insulated hollow metal doors. The new doors must be 18-gauge galvanized steel, include vision panels, have heavy-duty panic exit devices, Full Size Interchangeable Core cylinders, ADA-compliant surface closers, and meet International Building Code and ADA requirements. The contractor is responsible for complete demolition, installation, and ensuring all components are plumb, level, square, and weather-sealed. Submittals for product data, shop drawings, and warranty documentation are required for approval prior to ordering materials.
