| All offerors MUST be able to satisfy all the technical and packaging requirements as outlined below. Confirmation must be provided by checking all the boxes below and submitting with their quotation. Failure to submit the requested attachments will result in an "unacceptable" rating for technical acceptability and the offerors quote will not be further evaluated. | |
| FALSE | Offerors must be able to provide the Manufacturer Company, Cage Code, type of coating applied to the wire, and number of strands and strand size applicable to wire order. |
| FALSE | Wire and Cable shall be manufactured and inspected in accordance with (IAW) SAE Standards per wire/cable. Please include manufacturer’s Quality Assurance Testing Report including “Finished Wire Resistance Check”, OEM’s Data Sheet, and results of the test IAW SAE specifications with shipment. |
| FALSE | The Contractor shall furnish a Certificate of Conformance (COC) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.246-15. COC must be submitted in the format specified in the clause. Offerors must be able to provide necessary certification including traceability to the manufacturer, manufacturer's (COC) to ensure parts are in airworthy condition, suitable for installation on USCG aircraft. |
| FALSE | All wire shall be NEW approved wire. The Contractor shall provide documentation with a statement verifying that all wire shall be NEW approved wire, in response to this RFQ. (For example, no wire outer insulation containing PVC), for this wire would be disqualifying for aerospace standards. |
| FALSE | Each reel of wire shall be a full spool when possible. Spools shall be a continuous run with no break. Multiple segments per spool are not authorized and will be rejected by Quality Assurance. Wire must be marked IAW SAE AS22759 and/or NAVAIR 01-1A-505-1 and manufactured within last 12 months. |
| FALSE | Wire and Cable marking should show the part number (e.g., M22759/12-20-9) and manufacturer Cage Code (e.g., 12ABC). Marking is typically every 12 inches, but may be every 6 to 60 inches apart, in black or green color. (Exception to include when outer jacket requires a stark contrast to identify wire number, such as black jacket and white lettering). The lack of proper marking is reason for rejection. NOTE: Wire size 26 gauge and smaller does not require marking. The date of manufacture shall be listed on every spool data label as well as the type of coating applied to the wire. |
| FALSE | QA requires access to both ends of Wire and Cable on the spool for inspection. All Wire and Cable must be terminated correctly, for example, heat shrink on bitter end of wire. Each spool of wire needs to be identified with (example: 1 of 6, or use manufacturers assigned name), National Stock Number, Part Number, manufacturer lot number of wire order, and date of manufacturer listed on tag of spool (usually the wire comes with the manufacturers assigned name “LRB” already designated on the spool). |
| FALSE | The FOB Shipping Point (Destination or Origin) and Estimated Shipping Cost if FOB Origin. All quotes will be considered FOB Destination unless FOB Origin is clearly stated, and shipping costs are included. |
| FALSE | Offerors acknowledge that any wire that is delivered and that does not adhere to these technical and packaging requirements may fail inspection and be rejected by Quality Assurance. |
