About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details snow removal services for rental cabins located in the Glacier View and Hungry Horse Ranger Districts. The contractor is required to remove snow from road surfaces when accumulations reach 6-8 inches using a tractor with a snow blower or a truck with a front-end plow. Specific locations include Schnaus, Ford, Ben Rover, Wurtz cabins, and the Whale Creek/North Fork road junction parking area.
The SOW mandates that the contractor respond within 24 hours of notification from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), ensure no snow berms block building access, and be responsible for all equipment fuel. Additionally, the contractor must provide a frontend loader with a minimum one-cubic-yard bucket capacity to remove snowbanks when normal plowing can no longer maintain adequate roadway width. The exhibits include detailed site maps for each cabin location, showing road layouts, cabin positions, and auxiliary structures like wood sheds and toilets.
