STATEMENT OF WORK
Replacement of Hydronic Heating
Coil (B6448)
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The scope of work for this project shall include a mandatory site visit prior to performing any work. This project shall also include the furnishing of all materials, labor, supplies and equipment necessary to perform work as described above by removing and replacing the hydronic heating coil belonging to YORK AHU #1, model# XTI-072X120-
SALA017A, serial# CECM XT0319. The coil shall be the same or equivalent in specifications to the existing damaged coil. Additionally, contractor shall perform air bleeding procedures to ensure all air is removed from the system.
1. Heating Coil estimated dimensions:
a. Length 10 ft
b. Height 5 ft
c. Width 5 in
A. All documents related to the handling/disposal of hazardous material must be supplied to the Material Acquisition 2CES/CEOEM, ext. 456-8566. The contractor must obtain the proper documents from 2 CES/CEOEM to ensure all materials entering/leaving Barksdale AFB can be tracked and accounted for, in accordance with all governing laws.
B. FIELD CONDITIONS: The contractor shall be responsible for all field measurements to accomplish work. Quantity and sizes of materials shall be determined from site visits and drawings. The contractor shall carefully examine the entire site and building and shall make all necessary investigations to become thoroughly aware of the existing conditions and all difficulties involved in the completion of the work in accordance with the contract documents. Furthermore, contractor shall provide their own special equipment needed to fulfill the accomplishment of work and obey any safety regulations assign to Barksdale AFB.
C. ACCOMPLISHMENT OF WORK: The contractor must ensure all access to the existing building always remain clear for occupants and emergency egress during the construction period. All temporary closures, barriers, and protective procedures shall be coordinated with the Contracting Officer or representative. All work shall be accomplished between the hours of 07:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to exclude federal holidays and weekends.

D. WORK CONDITIONS: The contractor shall coordinate work with the
Contracting Officer or representative. The contractor shall notify
CES/CEOIH point of contact the day he/she moves onto the work site to commence work. The contractor shall again provide notification the day he moves back to the work site after an interruption of work schedule and updates if required. This schedule shall describe major work items and projected completion dates.
E. PROTECTION OF BUILDING PROPERTY AND PERSONNEL: The contractor shall protect from damage all building property located in or adjacent to the building and shall repair, replace, or otherwise be held liable for all such damage. Building property includes, but is not limited to, furniture, vehicles, or items of supplies. Exercise control measures of all dust and toxic fumes associated with certain construction operations, to prevent hazards or illness to base and contractor personnel.
F. CLEAN UP: The contractor shall clean up the work site at the end of each workday to the satisfaction of the POC. Upon completion of the work, all demolished equipment and debris shall be removed from the site and the area shall be left in a neat and completely acceptable condition.
