About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a requirement by the Aerospace Fuels Laboratory at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station for an Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) analyzer with an autosampler. The contractor must provide a complete system including the ICP analyzer, autosampler, computer with monitor and software, onsite installation, startup, training, and method transfer. The system must meet specific technical requirements, such as starting sample runs in 10 minutes or less, using less than 10 L/min of argon, capable of measuring low-level metal concentrations, and including an internal standard introduction system.

The solicitation specifies delivery within 12 weeks after award to Cape Canaveral SFS, Florida, with a one-year agreement term. Vendors must demonstrate direct employment of qualified staff for installation and training. The document also outlines strict commercial vehicle delivery procedures for the installation, including mandatory inspections at the Commercial Vehicle Delivery Gate for vehicles larger than a large pick-up truck. The procurement is part of a Department of Air Force Materiel Command solicitation (FA860125Q0106) for an OES Metals Analyzer, with proposals due by 11 August 2025 at 11:00 AM ET.
