About this file
This is a Statement of Work document specifying equipment requirements for snow broom vehicles at Sheridan VA Medical Center. The document outlines detailed specifications for snow removal equipment that must be procured to support winter maintenance operations at the VA facility. Key specifications include requirements for broom-type snow removal vehicles capable of clearing parking areas, roadways, and other grounds surfaces during snow and ice conditions. The equipment must meet operational standards for durability, maneuverability, and efficiency in cold weather environments. Specific performance parameters address snow clearing width, depth capacity, and compatibility with existing facility maintenance infrastructure. The vehicles must comply with federal safety standards and Veterans Affairs operational guidelines for equipment used at medical centers.
The Statement of Work establishes baseline requirements for vendor proposals and defines the scope of equipment delivery and potential installation support. Specifications address vehicle dimensions, power requirements, material composition, and functional capabilities necessary for year-round readiness at the Sheridan VA Medical Center facility. The document serves as the technical foundation for the pre-solicitation phase, enabling potential contractors to prepare accurate bids prior to formal Request for Proposal issuance by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 19.
