STATEMENT OF WORK
(SOW)
Common Weapon Launcher (CWL) Display Evaluation and Repair PR No. 1300977348
1.0 Background
PMS-425 Supports fielding and repair of the Common Weapon Launcher (CWL) Display on V(9) submarine platforms. The CWL display a critical component in the CWL and is used to display and be able to control the weapon launcher. This piece of equipment is required by every (V)9 US Navy submarine platform and is end of life (EOL) and needs to continue to be used in the fleet for at least the next thirty (30) years.
2.0 Scope
The CWL display will be sent to the Contractor for evaluation and repair providing a framework for quantifying potential repair and testing of the units. Upon receipt of the evaluation cost the unit will be processed and evaluated. Evaluation and repair include the following steps:
Reception, physical inspection, test, disassembly, investigation of probable cause of defect and then estimate and procurement of the parts required. Following repair and/or replacement of components, we will perform functional tests and final Available- To-Promise (ATP).
Additionally, when electronic parts are replaced we perform a 24hr burn-in test at 40°C.
3.0 Applicable Documents

4.0 Technical Requirements
Step 1: Testing and Inspection, 24 hour run time, and complete ATP - completed without opening the unit.
Step 2: The units will be processed and evaluated. Evaluation and repair of the unit includes the following Reception, physical inspection, test, disassembly, investigation of probable cause of defect and then estimate and procurement of the parts required.
Step 3: Following repair and/or replacement of components, we will perform functional tests and final ATP. Additionally, when electronic parts are replaced we perform a 24hr burn-in test at 40°C.
Step 4: Once signed PO is received we will immediately start the repair process.
Step 5: Once repaired it will be sent back to NUWC

5.0 Government Furnished Information
