About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the procurement of a high-efficiency electric floor sweeper-scrubber for a 41,202-square-foot facility at Barksdale Air Force Base. The primary objective is to reduce current cleaning time from 7-8 hours to within a 1-hour window, specifically targeting polished cement flooring in high-traffic areas exposed to aircraft fluids, dirt, debris, and animal contaminants.
The required floor scrubber must have extensive specifications, including a 40-inch scrubbing width, battery-powered operation with minimum 8-hour runtime, UL certification, and speeds up to 5 MPH. Key features include a 75-gallon solution tank, 90-gallon recovery tank, dust filtration, multiple safety features, and a variable dump hopper with 200-pound capacity. The procurement includes a 24-month or 1,500-hour factory parts warranty, on-site training by the original equipment manufacturer, and requires a service employee within 50 miles of the base. Contacts for the procurement are MSgt Michael Mac Farlane, TSgt Brandon Kitchens, and TSgt Brian Jackson.
