Specification Document
Project: Diesel and Unleaded fuel. Recurring delivery of premium off-road diesel fuel (summer blend) and premium off-road winter blend 50 percent number 1 and 50 percent number 2 diesel and regular unleaded fuel.
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.0 Scope of Work:
The USDA-Dairy Forage Research Farm in Prairie du Sac, WI seeks a 12-month contract for recurring deliveries of summer-blend premium off-road diesel fuel (20,000 gal), winter blend off-road diesel (50% number 1 and 50% number 2) (10,000 gal), and Regular Unleaded fuel (3,000 gallons).
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
2.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks
• Premium off-road summer-blend diesel (7 deliveries @ approximately 2500-3000 gallons per delivery). Delivery of the summer blend will occur in May, June July, August, September, October, or until the 20,000 gallons is delivered. Delivery will occur at farms request.
• Premium off- road winter blend 50% number 1 and 50% number 2 (4 deliveries @ approximately 2500-3000 gallons per delivery). Delivery of the winter blend will occur in January, February, March, December, or until the 20,000 gallons is delivered. Delivery will occur at farms request.
• Regular Unleaded fuel (12 deliveries @ approximately 250 gallons per delivery).
Delivery will occur at farms request.

• Farm cannot except full semi load drops.
3.0 Deliverables/Schedule
• Delivery to USDA Dairy Forage Research Farm-Prairie du Sac. Include in quote:
delivery charges.
• Deliveries (2500-3000 gallons per delivery for diesel) approximately every 25-35 days
• Deliveries (300 gallons per delivery for regular unleaded) approximately every 25-35 days
• Deliver to underground diesel fuel tank at Prairie du Sac farm (S8822 Sunset Drive, Prairie du Sac, WI 53578)
• Contractor must be within 100 miles of delivery location
• First delivery needed by approximately 4-1-2026
• Each delivery must occur within 3 business days of farm request
• Delivery driver must contact Darrin Helt 608-206-9806 or Paul Davis 608-640-7752 with a verbal notification of the expected delivery time for the tank to be unlocked
