About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the USDA Forest Service Law Enforcement and Investigations' requirements for upfitting two marked patrol vehicles in Region 13 Zone 9. The project involves outfitting a 2023 Chevy 1500 and a 2024 Ford F150 with specialized law enforcement equipment, including a 54-inch SoundOff nForce light bar, deck grille LED lights, siren system, power distribution center, tail-lamp LED flashers, grille guard, spotlight, passenger storage console, vehicle mounting systems, cellular booster, gun rack, camera system, and specific vehicle graphics and markings.
The comprehensive upfit requires the vendor to handle vehicle pick-up, delivery, and complete installation of all equipment in accordance with Forest Service policy. Key specifications include emergency vehicle functionality (red/blue lights and sirens), prisoner security features, and law enforcement operational capabilities. The contractor must complete the work within 60 days of receiving the vehicles, with all equipment installed consistently across both vehicles, ensuring proper wiring, mounting, and protection of electronic components. The vehicles will be located at the USDA Forest Service Superior NF in Duluth, Minnesota.
