About this file
This document specifies salient characteristics for an SCBA Mask Washer procurement with three contract line items (CLINs).
CLIN 0001 covers the Solo Rescue 1-Phase SCBA Mask Washer, a cleaning machine with external dimensions of 68.6 x 40.4 x 37.7 inches (closed) and 82.0 x 40.4 x 51.8 inches (open), weighing 536 lbs empty. The machine features an 8.8 cubic feet load volume, 29-gallon wash tank, and 1.6-gallon rinse tank. Operating temperatures range from 86–140°F for both wash and rinse cycles, with temperature settings configured at installation per manufacturer recommendations. Cleaning programs accommodate SCBA masks, helmets, gloves, and boots with adjustable cycles from 1–30 minutes.
CLIN 0002 specifies an MSA Wash Kit consisting of a specialized plug and cap kit for sealing MSA G1 SCBA components during machine cleaning. The regulator must contain fewer than 35 easily replaceable parts, offer two air-supply hose options (continuous or quick-connect), include a Tetraplex Shield membrane for CBRN agent protection, and be equipped with an RFID chip for asset and maintenance tracking. CLIN 0003 addresses a Decon Filter unit measuring 1800 x 300 x 750 mm, weighing 70 kg empty, with a 130-liter filter tank capacity. The filter features a stainless steel, high-temperature pump capable of handling solids up to 10mm and can support up to 3 Solo Rescue Decon Washers. Power supply includes a 5-meter Schuko cable for EU regions, with other regions requiring local dealer contact.
