Attachment 2 - Salient Characteristics and Equipment List

SALIENT CHARATERISTICS FOR 1800' BARBED WIRE FENCE MATERIAL
PART 1 - Fence Fabric
1.1.1 The fence fabric shall be constrncted with a 2" diamond mesh pattern. Mesh spacing is measured between the centers of two adjacent wires having same spatial alignment; alternatively, the measurement can be made between two leading edges of wire.
1.1.2 The Fence gauge must be a minimum of9 gauge.
1.1.3 The fence constrnction shall be knuckle on bottom and twist on top.
1.1.4 All fence components must have a galvanized coating.
1. 1.5 All fence matedal must mee ASTM Specifications A392; this specification covers zinc-coated (galvanized) steel chain-link fence fabdc, zinc coated either before or after weaving. The wire shall be woven throughout in the fo1m of approximately unifo1m square mesh, having parallel sides and horizontal and ve1tical diagonals of approximately unifo1m dimensions.
1.1.6 All fence poles must be SS-40/MT-40
