About this file
The file is a Proposal Evaluation Worksheet for a Naval Sea Systems Command small business set-aside solicitation (N0016425RJW85_0002) for ruggedized laptops and associated accessories. The detailed technical specifications outline requirements for an Enhanced Mobile Systems Solution (EMSS) Electronic Mobile Device (EMD) with precise hardware and performance criteria, including a 3.3 GHz CPU, 32 GB RAM, NVIDIA GPU meeting specific performance metrics, 1 TB SSD, TPM 2.0, and extensive connectivity options. The EMD must meet military ruggedization standards (MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-1472H), with a maximum weight of 9 lbs and an objective weight of 5 lbs.
The solicitation includes 11 Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) covering the primary ruggedized laptop, expansion battery, universal backpack, NATO power adapter, battery charger, Ethernet cable, optional strap assembly, external DVD-ROM drive, and options for spare hard drives, batteries, and power adapters. Amendment 0002 updates GPU specifications and extends the proposal deadline to 17 October 2025. The procurement is specifically a small business set-aside, targeting vendors who can provide a comprehensive, ruggedized mobile computing solution that meets stringent military technical and environmental requirements.
