REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL LITERATURE

a. The bidder shall provide, with its bid, descriptive literature that has previously been used to market the proposed Office Furniture. The literature will be used to technically evaluate the bid and shall describe how the Office Furniture meets requirements of the specification; specifically the paragraphs:

Ref. Paragraph(s) Information Furnished

Salient Feature Requirement Office Source and Candex brands or equal

PL Series Standard Features Furniture Construction Standards

Acrylic Panels Standard Features Resistant Capabilities

Warranty Limited Life time warranty

Guarantee 5-year Guarantee

Delivery and Assembly This is a one-time requirement for the items described above to be delivered to the Anniston Army Depot, 7 Frankford Avenue, Building 528, Anniston, Alabama 36201. All items are to be assembled by the deliverer.

Invoices/Packing Slips shall describe the requirement and accurately identify the quantity delivered. Call to verify prior to scheduling delivery.

b. The features, which must be addressed in the descriptive literature, are necessary to consider the bid responsive. If the bidder’s preprinted literature does not show all these features, the bidder must attach a letter of supplemental information to the literature describing in detail those required features.

c. The failure of descriptive literature to show that the product offered conforms to the requirements of this solicitation will require rejection of the bid.

d. “Conditions” or “prices are subject to change without notice” shall not be considered for an award. The government has no assurance the products offered will conform to the specification; therefore, the bid is not considered a firm bid and will not be considered for an award.
