About this file

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details the delivery requirements for new dormitory furniture at Joint Base Andrews (JBA), specifically for outfitting 126 individual rooms. The vendor must transport and offload furniture to Warehouse Building 3416, with deliveries occurring during normal duty hours (Monday through Friday, 0800-1600), excluding federal holidays. Key requirements include providing 72-hour advance delivery notification, submitting base access requests three business days prior, and ensuring all shipped items include Unique Item Numbers, detailed packing lists, and project-specific labels.

The PWS mandates comprehensive delivery protocols, including contractor-provided labor for safe furniture transfer, government inspection by designated representatives, and strict security compliance. Delivery personnel must have valid government-issued identification and adhere to Joint Base Andrews security protocols. Government support includes access to the loading dock, potential escort support, and coordination assistance via CINTEOT for delivery scheduling. The inspection process will verify quantity, assess potential damage, and confirm documentation completeness for each furniture shipment.
