Chevrolet Silverado 1500 crew cab trucks, registration number G61C5483, and must be outfitted to support emergency response capabilities, incident command operations and meet mission‑specific markings, communications, and equipment storage requirements. These modifications will enable CEF to store and deploy equipment in a configuration that supports operational effectiveness, enhances responder safety, and extends the service life of critical life‑safety and incident response assets assigned to these vehicles. Prior to the start of any work, the contractor shall submit installation methods, design layouts, and material specifications for approval the Contracting Officer. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary to perform the work outlined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Attachment 1. All performance shall conform to applicable laws, regulations, instructions, executive orders, commercial standards, and the requirements contained within this PWS and Attachment 1.

The contractor shall furnish and install a fully extendable command work platform in the

Incident Command Vehicles. The platform shall operate on a heavy‑duty track system that allows smooth extension and retraction from the vehicles bed with minimal effort. The platform shall incorporate integrated cabinets and storage compartments designed to securely store command, communications, and response equipment. All cabinets shall be installed to ensure stable, secure opening and closing during vehicle movement and field operations. The contractor shall configure the rear driver’s side of the platform to accommodate four mobile radios, four

110V power outlets, and four USB charging ports. The contractor is responsible for ensuring all outlets and USB ports are fully wired, powered, and operational upon installation. The platform should also include two pull‑out map drawers. The contractor shall install all components in a manner that preserves adequate space for two 27–32-inch touchscreens and two independent

CPUs, one for each display. Additionally, the contractor shall install one keyboard drawer and three equipment storage drawers as part of the platform assembly. The rear passenger’s side of the platform shall consist of cabinets and shelving configured to store emergency response equipment in an organized and mission‑ready manner.

1.1.3 Slide‑Out Command Module Configuration:

The contractor shall configure the slide‑out command module to incorporate a multi‑functional layout that supports incident command operations. The top section of the slide‑out shall include a fold‑down monitor suitable for use as a command‑and‑control display. The left and right sides of the slide‑out shall each include dual‑sided fold‑down dry‑erase boards. Behind each board, the contractor shall install fixed bookcases designed to store binders, reference materials, and mission‑essential documents in an organized and secure manner. The contractor shall ensure that the area located behind the command module provides a designated storage compartment for emergency response equipment, to include Self‑Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA). All components shall be installed to ensure secure retention, ease of access, and safe operation during vehicle movement and emergency response activities.

1.1.4 RESERVED

1.1.5 Reinforced Cap:

The contractor shall furnish and install a reinforced cap for the command vehicles. The cap shall be designed to fully enclose the 5’7” truck bed and provide durable protection suitable for emergency‑response operations and environmental exposure. The driver and passenger sides of the cap shall each include solid aluminum access doors equipped with open‑shelving configurations. These shelves shall be accessible from the exterior of the vehicle and shall be constructed to securely store mission‑essential equipment while preventing movement during vehicle operation.

The front panel of the cap shall be solid with no window. The rear of the cap shall include a standard framed aluminum door with dual handles to ensure secure closure, ease of operation, and reliable access to the vehicle’s command module and equipment storage areas. All components shall be installed to ensure structural integrity, weather resistance, and safe operation during routine use and emergency response activities.
