PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS)

Title: Public Health Lab Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Equipment Rental

Requiring Activity Name: Defense Centers for Public Health - Aberdeen

1. INTRODUCTION

The Defense Centers for Public Health – Aberdeen (DCPH-A) is part of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and focuses on epidemiology, laboratory sciences, occupational health sciences, public health information and toxicology to enhance readiness and assure the quality and effectiveness of Public Health Enterprise.

2. PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND

The DCPH-A requests a service contract in support of the E2850 Public Health Replacement Lab Ribbon Cutting to be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. This service contract will rent a tent, chairs, stage, generator, and other miscellaneous items required to host a ribbon cutting event for approximately 500 guests including multiple flag officers. Contracting all the items, including the generator, lights and electrical distribution system, will decrease risk and the likelihood of an equipment failure at a critical time.
