Statement of Work/Supply Specifications Red Springs Campground Pavilion Procurement
1. Scope of Work
• Ashley National Forest, Vernal Ranger District, is planning to acquire a metal pavilion for installation at Red Springs Campground. The pavilion structure design is metal, rectangular, natural colors, pitched 4:12 gable roof min. 8 ft clearance, approximate dimensions 24 ft. x 36 ft. Minimum structural standards: Snow Load = 41 PSF. Wind Load = 100 MPH. Seismic load and building strength designed to meet IBC 2018 Requirements/
ASCE 7-16.
2. Contractor Requirements
• Contractor will fabricate, deliver, and provide stamped drawings of pavilion structure. The Forest Service will install the foundation and assemble the structure.
• Specifications: Metal, rectangular, natural colors, pitched 4:12 gable roof 8 ft min.
clearance, and approximate dimensions 24 ft x 36 ft. Minimum required structural standards: Snow Load = 41 PSF. Wind Load = 100 MPH. Seismic load and building strength designed to meet IBC 2018 Requirements/ASCE 7-16.
• Pavilion structure must be fully accessible and must meet the wind, snow, and seismic design standards in the International Building Code 2018 Requirements/ASCE 7-16 .
• Pavilion structure shall be delivered in a completed state with minimal fieldwork required to place and complete installation on the site. No concrete work shall be allowed at the site as part of the building delivery.
• Deliver pavilion structure to the Ashley National Forest, Vernal RD Warehouse Address:
248 S. 500 E. Vernal UT, 84078.
• Provide a full, stamped and signed set of detailed drawings. Including: roof plan, materials, proposed color scheme, dimensions, structural specifications, and footings. Design calculations for the proposed shelter shall be provided to the Contracting Officer Representative for USFS Region 4 Engineer’s Design Approval within 4 weeks after the award of the contract. The drawings and design shall be stamped by a licensed Engineer in the State of Utah, certifying the design meets the design requirements specified herein.
3. Government Furnished
• Government will prepare the site and offload the structure.
• Provide minimum structural specifications to contractor.
• Install structure and finalize site landscaping after installation is completed.
5. Deliverables/Schedule
• Coordinate with Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to schedule deliveries.
• Deliveries acceptable as early as July 2023 and shall be finalized by October 2024.
• Deliveries accepted Monday – Friday (excluding Federal Holidays).
• Deliveries shall be delivered to: Vernal RD Warehouse, 248. S. 500 E., Vernal UT, 84078
