Greenbrier Ranger District Description of Compound Mowing for Bartow Administrative Site

Mowing and grass trimming of all lawns including in and around all structures, fences, and other obstacles at the Greenbrier Ranger District office, front office lawn, around district sign, along the road, gas shed, sewer treatment building and mound behind it, inside warehouse fence, bunkhouse, small one story residence and garage, and the two story residence and garage located on Route 250/92 in Bartow, West Virginia.

The contractor will be responsible for picking up any limbs, trash, and debris (within reason), which is located on the areas to be mowed.

The contractor will supply all necessary labor, materials, and equipment in order to perform the grass cutting and trimming.

The contractor will perform the grass cutting and trimming weekly, or as directed by the COR. There may be times that the site may need mowed more often as the grass may grow faster, so this will be on an “as needed basis”.

Mowing and trimming should begin on or around April 1 and extend through November 15.

The primary contact with the District will be Jim Connolly, 304-456-3335, ext. 129.
