About this file
This attachment document provides equipment specifications for training facilities operated by the State of Michigan at Camp Grayling and Fort Custer. The document identifies the primary target equipment and target movers utilized at both facilities to support military and law enforcement training operations. The equipment listed includes six categories of systems from two manufacturers: Inveris/Meggitt systems (SIT-Stationery Infantry Target/Mover, SAT-Stationery Armored Target, MIT-Mobile Infantry Target/Mover, and MAT-Mobile Armored Target) and SAAB systems (SIT-Stationery Infantry Target/Mover and SAT-Stationery Armored Target). The document explicitly notes that this listing does not represent an exhaustive inventory of all equipment at both facilities, as various military and law enforcement units bring their own specialized equipment to meet specific training requirements and qualification standards.
This document serves as a reference attachment for potential vendors or service providers who may be responding to contract opportunities related to maintenance, support, training, or equipment-related services at these Michigan training installations. The identification of existing equipment provides bidders with baseline information necessary to understand the operational environment and technical specifications with which they may need to interface or provide support services.
