About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for providing traffic control services to support the 2025 Air Show at Nellis Air Force Base (AFB). The contractor will be responsible for reconfiguring and controlling traffic patterns in the area around Nellis AFB and the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) during the 2-day air show event. Key requirements include providing experienced personnel to manage traffic, setting up digital message boards and signage, closing roads, and establishing dedicated shuttle bus lanes. The contractor must have at least 2 years' experience working with state and local transportation authorities in handling large events with over 100,000 attendees in the Las Vegas area.
The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation notice for the 2025 Air Show Traffic Control Services requirement. The United States Air Force, 99th Contracting Squadron at Nellis AFB, is seeking capabilities statements from potential sources, including small businesses, to provide the traffic control services detailed in the SOW. Interested firms must demonstrate their ability to meet the SOW requirements and provide relevant technical details. The government will use the responses to determine if the requirement will be set aside for small businesses. Proposals are due by 10:00 AM Pacific Time on December 2, 2024.
