Technical Specification for Energy Dispersive XRF (EDXRF) Spectrometer
The Government requires a new, fully functional Energy Dispersive XRF (EDXRF) Spectrometer to deliver the capability for detection of elements ranging from Sodium to Uranium, and to isolate the sample from the detector. Refurbished or remanufactured parts are not authorized for this requirement.
Provided below are the minimum technical specifications required to meet this need:
1) EDXRF Analyzer shall include the following features and accessories:
50 kV 4W X‐ray Tube 6 Position X‐ray filter wheel Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) Detection Range: Sodium to Uranium Sulfur Detection per ASTM D4294 Peltier electronic cooling Digital Signal Processor Standard and Non‐Standard Quantification Large Sample Chamber that can be isolated from the detector 32 mm Cup Sample Ring and 17.5 mm ID Flat Sample Ring Starter Kit Helium Purge Option
2) Software, QuantEZ RPF‐SQX FP, QC or equivalent
3) Sample Tray, 6‐position, 32 mm QC
4) Helium Regulator, 2‐stage, NPT Connections (50 psi 2nd stage)
5) External PC, WIN 11 operating system (compliant with AF requirements)
6) UPS, 1500VA, 900W, 120 VAC Input
7) Calibration and Check Standards
8) Installation, Calibration, Training and Warranty
