MORÓN AIR BASE, SPAIN
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) FOR:
Disposal of Concrete & Asphalt Materials

PART 1 - PROJECT OBJECTIVES
1. The following Statement of Objectives (SOO) describes the requirements and the services that are to be performed by the contractor for the disposal concrete and asphalt materials.
PART 2 - SCOPE
1. GENERAL: The work covered by this Statement of Objectives (SOO) consists in the performance of all necessary travel, labor, equipment, materials, transportation, base access, that enable the Contractor to perform all required actions.
2. WORK DESCRIPTION:
2.1. The contractor shall dispose of approximately 2,200 cubic meters (5,280 tons) of concrete rubble, and 310 cubic meters (744 tons) of asphalt waste. This rubble material will be consolidate at one site location, and will be in pieces no larger than 2’x2’ dimensions.
2.1.1. These quantities are approximations, and the contractor shall provide bids priced per cubic meter for evaluation. The contractor will be paid based on actual final cubic meter / tons quantities, to be validated with weight tickets or dump yard tickets to the contracting officer (CO).
2.2. The contractor shall provide everything required to load and haul this material off base, including but not limited to: equipment, dumpsters, equipment operators, etc.
2.3. The contractor shall dispose of the material off base by following all local and federal laws for materials disposal.
2.4. The contractor shall repair any damages to the site caused by the contractor, and restore the area to its original state to include repairing any roadway damages, or large ruts or holes in the ground.
2.4. Working times: Mon – Friday 0830 – 16:30
2.11. Zero A&E services are required for this work.
2.12. Zero Government furnished materials or equipment will be utilized to perform this work.
2.13. To gain base access, the contractor shall provide copies of employees DNIs (front and back) and truck/vehicle information. The contractor shall provide this information to the contracting officer (CO) and/or the assigned representative no later than (NLT) seven (7) days prior to the work start date.
2.14. All materials shall be picked up and hauled off base from an identified location within Morón Air Base at the address stated below:

2.15. Performance Period: The period of performance to haul and dispose of required materials is thirty (30) calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued.
