Statement of Work Summary: Stainless-Steel Cabinetries and Shelving
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for Order No. PR15997625 covering the complete design verification, fabrication, supply, delivery, installation, testing, and handover of stainless-steel cabinetry systems for a recreation center renovation project. The scope includes a stainless-steel heavy-duty countertop, under-counter sliding door cabinets, wall-mounted hinged cupboards, and open shelving systems for a high-usage clubhouse bar and service area. All work shall be executed as a complete turnkey supply-and-installation package and must comply with NSF/ANSI 2 and 51, ASTM A240/A480, AWS D18.1, ISO 9001, ADA Guidelines, and US Commercial Kitchen Fabrication Standards.
Material specifications require AISI 304 food-grade stainless steel with minimum thicknesses of 1.2 mm for cabinet carcass, 1.5–2.0 mm for structural reinforcements, and 1.2–1.5 mm for shelving panels, all finished with No. 4 satin brushed finish. Fabrication must utilize CNC laser cutting and precision press braking with fully TIG welded construction; all welds must be ground smooth and polished to match base finish with passivation for corrosion resistance. Edge safety requirements mandate hemmed, folded, or radiused edges with no sharp edges permitted, and internal corners require minimum R3–R10 radius for hygiene compliance. Cabinet construction must include a fully enclosed carcass with sealed joints, moisture-resistant base, anti-racking reinforcement frames, and load capacity of 75–120 kg uniform distributed load per shelf. The stainless-steel worktop must be minimum 1.5 mm skin thickness over reinforced substrate with sound-deadening backing, integral 100–150 mm backsplash, and L/240 deflection limit. Installation requires adjustable leveling legs with 150 mm adjustment range, rubber anti-vibration pads, and anchoring to slab with stainless steel or epoxy anchors. The contractor must provide shop drawings, material data sheets, hardware specifications with brand confirmation, finish samples, installation method statement, and warranty certificate. Pricing shall be lump sum fixed price inclusive of material supply, fabrication, hardware, transport, installation, testing, commissioning, and warranty obligations, with a minimum two-year comprehensive warranty covering fabrication defects, welding failure, hardware malfunction, and door alignment failure, including replacement of defective components at no additional cost.
