STATEMENT OF WORK

344TH TRS/Det 1 BLDG. 1421

344 TRS/Det 1 Welding Inspection Camera Kits (17 Jan 2024)

1. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

1.1. General Requirements

Work to be accomplished: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, labor, and other items and services necessary for delivering and installing turnkey product of the Welding Camera Kits.

1.2. Building Layout

All work is to be completed in building 1421, room 301. This building only contains one floor.

1.3. Installation

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

1.3.1 Contractor shall deliver, set-up, and install 2 Welding Inspection Camera kits on the provided TV carts that shall provide students clear visibility of demonstration procedures.

1.3.2 Contractor shall ensure the system is functioning properly.

1.3.3 Contractor shall provide training on-site.

1.3.4 Contractor shall remove any trash and dispose of off-site.

1.4. Delivery

The contractor shall be responsible for off-loading items from delivery vehicles and shall provide any additional equipment to accomplish the task. The contractor shall also be responsible for properly protecting the service entrance and flooring of each building in which the items are to be received. No loading dock is available, so a lift gate truck will be needed.

1.5. Address

1.6. Site Maintenance

The contractor shall maintain work areas in a neat, clean, and safe condition. The contractor shall be responsible for providing, installing, and the removal of any temporary signage, barriers, barricade tape, etc. which may be required to control pedestrian in the work area. The contractor shall collect all trash, debris, refuse, garbage, etc. (related to contractor personnel and this requirement). The aforementioned materials shall be removed from the site by appropriate means daily.

Contractor shall not work or store materials in a manner that would hinder or otherwise block pedestrian circulation to exit corridors and doors in the event of an emergency or fire. Storage of materials shall be coordinated with the customer. The contractor shall be responsible for freight, unpacking, delivery, installation, and disposal.

1.7. Clean up

The Contractor shall also remove all packaging materials from Port Hueneme NBVC, CA. and shall be responsible for any refuse containers needed for trash and packing materials. Lastly, the contractor shall be responsible for returning the facility to its original state prior to installation and repairing any damage caused by the contractor’s personnel or equipment.

1.8. Site Program Manager/Point of Contact (POC)

The Contractor shall designate an on-site project manager as the Site POC for individual projects.

The Site POC or alternate(s) shall be available during normal duty hours until project completion.

The Site POC shall be the interface for all work site communications with the Government, including quality, safety, and discrepancy matters.

1.9. WORK HOURS AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS

Work hours shall be 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of Federal holidays. At the option of the government and with approval of the 344 TRS/Det 1, work may be permitted on Federal holidays, weekends or after 4:00 p.m. daily at no additional cost to the government. The following legal holidays are observed:

New Year’s Day, January 1st

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, 3rd Monday in January

Washington’s Day, 3rd Monday in February

Memorial Day, Last Monday in May

Juneteenth, 19th of June

Independence Day, July 4th

Labor Day, 1st Monday in September

Note: When any of the above holidays falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed as the legal holiday; holidays falling on a Sunday shall be observed on the following Monday.

1.10. Warranty

Manufacturer and Standard Commercial warranties for individual pieces shall be provided along with contact information as well as any operation manuals.

2. TESTING

Prior to installation, the Contractor shall submit product samples. A Government representative shall conduct an acceptability check of initial sample to ensure furniture selection will meet the Government’s needs.

3. ACCEPTANCE

Upon completion of the work, the units shall be subject to a final inspection and acceptance by 344 TRS Det 1/TRRC, Mr. David Guthrie, (312) 551-2364.

4. RECORDS MANAGEMENT

"The Contractor shall manage all data created for Government use or legally controlled by the Government, in support of the functional activity or required by AF publication, IAW with the AF Records Management procedures in Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-322, Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 33-363 and Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-364 (or their subsequent replacements)".

5. CONTRACT MANAGEMENT

No changes in or deviation from the scope of service shall be affected without a modification executed by the Contracting Officer authorizing such changes.
