The period of performance is 60 days, with deliveries coordinated through the site representative, Eli Stinson (Elliotte_stinson@fws.gov, 501-530-6986).

The contractor is required to deliver a minimum of 100 tons of limestone daily between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday only. Deliveries will not be accepted on weekends, federal holidays, or during wet conditions that could adversely affect roads and parking areas. Each road or group of roads must be completed before proceeding to the next location. The contractor remains responsible for all equipment utilized for delivery and tailgate spreading. Scale tickets indicating material weight, material type, and delivery date must be provided to the refuge representative for each load. Two reference maps showing the Cache River NWR Aggregate North and South locations with beginning coordinates are provided to identify the delivery sites.

Supply and Tailgate Spreading of SB2 and B-Stone Aggregate at the Cache River National Wildlife Refuge

Specifications / Scope of Work

The contractor shall supply and deliver approximately 1,265 tons of aggregate consisting of 1,125 tons of SB2 limestone and 140 tons of B-Stone for tailgate spreading on existing refuge roads. The aggregate must be delivered and applied to a depth of approximately three (3) inches at the Cache River National Wildlife Refuge (NWR), located in Woodruff, Prairie, and Monroe Counties, Arkansas.

Delivery locations and required quantities are as follows:

1. Bayou Deview North Road (Asset #10039123): 140 tons, SB2

2. Thompson Road (Asset #10017451): 140 tons, SB2

3. Horseshoe Lake Road (Asset #10017440): 140 tons, SB2

4. Robe Bayou Road (Asset #10017467): 140 tons, SB2

5. Barnes Lake Road (Asset #10017442): 140 tons, SB2

6. Penn's Bay Road (Asset #10051097): 140 tons, SB2

7. Morris Tract Road (Asset #10017443): 140 tons, B-Stone

8. Howell Road (Asset #10038765): 285 tons, SB2

Total Quantity: 1,265 tons of aggregate (comprising 1,125 tons of SB2 and 140 tons of B-Stone), to be delivered and tailgate spread as directed by refuge personnel.

All delivery trucks must be equipped with tailgate chains to ensure consistent spreading of aggregate. Trucks lacking appropriate chains will not be permitted to deliver and will be redirected.

Period of Performance: 60 days
