Statement of work
The purpose of this statement of work is to provide annual maintenance to the Soil Climate Analysis Network (SCAN) stations throughout the state of Missouri. Currently we have 13 stations in the state. The table below provides the location of each station.

The annual maintenance should include the following tasks:
1. Clean and test 12 Volt Rechargeable Battery
2. Replace Anemometer bearings
3. Clean and level Anemometer
4. Clean and test Precipitation Gauge (tipping bucket). Adjust Leveling Plate
5. Replace Air Temperature/Relative Humidity sensor head
6. Clean Solar Radiation Sensor
7. Clean Solar Panels
8. Verify Voltage specifications on Solar Panel Regulator
9. Test Data Logger Battery Voltage
10.Trim or remove vegetation around Station
11.Inspect all wiring, replace or repair if needed
12.Remove any insect or animal debris.
13.Replace desiccant
14.Seal any NEMA holes or openings
15.Replace tape on wiring as needed
16.Test all sensors
17.Verify sensor data on web page
18.Document data logger program version
19.Replace defective components, sensors, wiring. Parts won’t be included.
20.Install Recommended updates in order to meet the operational standards: (Parts won’t be included) a Recommended updates during annual Maintenance to bring SCAN stations up to current operational standards include:
1. Replace Air Temperature/ Relative Humidity Sensor HMP45 with Hygroclip 2.
2. Replace Texas Electronic Precipitation Gauge with Hydrological Services precipitation gauge.
3. Replace current Raven XT with RV50 4G cell modem, cell modem SIM must be purchased from ITS and coordinated with NRCS, replace existing cell antenna with high gain RV50
