NOAA Fisheries requires the purchase and delivery of four spools of new wire rope totaling 20,000 meters. The material specifications include two spools of 5,000 meters each of 25.4mm diameter Bridon Dyform (or equivalent) with Right Hand lay configuration, 6x26 FFC, 1570 Galvanized, with a minimum 41-ton tension rating; and two spools of identical specifications with Left Hand lay configuration. The contractor must deliver the wire to the NOAA Gulf Marine Support Facility Warehouse located at 202 Krebs Ave, Pascagoula, MS 39567. The estimated weight per spool is 15,282 kilograms, which contractors should confirm with the manufacturer. The delivery deadline is October 12, 2026, with immediate delivery upon availability preferred. The point of contact is Henry Holtz at (251) 753-4238 or Henry.holtz@noaa.gov. The previous supplier was TRAWLWORKS, INC., located in Narragansett, Rhode Island.
