STATEMENT OF WORK
50th Security Forces Squadron Schriever Space Force Base, CO
Message Board System
6 AUG 2025
1. SCOPE
1.1. Introduction. This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for the procurement of three message board systems with tow trailer. The trailer will provide portability for the message boards, enabling their deployment to improve traffic management, circulation control, and overall installation security, particularly for seasonal communication and special events. They will also facilitate project-based communication by disseminating information such as travel routes and parking locations.
1.2. Background. Purchase of a message system will allow the 50th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) and other Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB) agencies to quickly and easily share information regarding events on the installation. The message board system also serves as a force multiplier, improving Defenders’ capabilities by sharing information regarding public safety events, hostile or non-hostile. Currently, 50th SFS and SSFB do have ability to share information (ATHOC) however, not all base personnel have access to ATHOC or other messaging systems. These boards will help remedy that issue. Enhanced information sharing has been consistently recommended in after-action reports from military and civilian agencies following real-world events and exercises..
Furthermore, information regarding off base accidents or incidents can be shared via these boards.
